The Gallery Bound Event

November 2nd Saturday (Nov. 10th)

The Gallery Bound Program is an anti-graffiti education program this year, 15 middle and high school students teamed up with professional local artists. After a month and a half of collaboration, hard work, and an educational/motivational presentation from Alex Rubio we had our opening. For most of these students it was the first time they were able to stand next to their art in an actual gallery setting. Two of the students actually received scholarships to the South West School of Art and Craft (thank you for your generous donation).
The Gallery Bound Program is brought to the City of San Antonio by Councilwoman Delicia Herrera's office, The Anti-Graffiti Task-force, The Office of Cultural Affairs, and Sponsored by The Blue Star Contemporary Art Center.
